FMC Corporation Selects The WERCS as Its MSDS Authoring and Hazard Communication Software Solution

The Wercs, Ltd., the global software and services leader in providing software tools and services for the authoring, management and distribution of material safety data sheet (MSDS) and hazard communication documents, announced today that FMC Corporation(NYSE:FMC)has selected The WERCS as its global MSDS authoring and hazard communication software solution. FMC will use both The WERCS software tools as well WERCS Professional Services WPS) to advance compliance surrounding the shipment of products globally. FMC will utilize MSDS authoring, label printing, chemical inventory management, GHS(Globally Harmonized System) and REACH(Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) software tools deployed against a global central chemical substance repository accessible throughout the world.
Through the integration with the SAP software suite, The WERCS will access and share critical data required for creating and distributing globally compliant MSDS documents and labels. This will provide an enterprise-based, seamless
approach toward efficient document creation.
